Cemetery Melaten – Vagankovo on the Rhine
Peace and quiet
The city grew, it went beyond its medieval wall, surrounded the cemetery. Trees also grew, alleys became shady. Gradually Melaten turned into a green oasis in the bustle of the city, and its silence began to attract birds, squirrels, and other animals. They say they even saw foxes. Residents of neighboring areas come here for walks with their children. There are excursions every day.
