The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power
The ultra-expensive new fantasy series – in fact the most expensive in television history – based on the classic work of JR Tolkien.
Unlike Peter Jackson’s film trilogy from the beginning of the millennium, its plot goes back thousands of years to the event mentioned in the first minutes of “The Fellowship of the Ring”: the creation of the rings of power. Those forged in the fire of Mount Mordor to evenly distribute the power relations within Middle-earth and allow it to develop in harmony. The return to the origin story allows the “Rings of Power” to increase the width of the canvas to all the kingdoms of Middle-earth: the kingdoms of the humans, the night-born, the dwarves and Mordor itself.
