The events took place in the courtyard of the Joseph Storck high school, in Guebwiller (Haut-Rhin), on Wednesday. Around 5:30 p.m., two students, aged 18 and 19, were beaten up as they were about to leave the establishment, in a “particularly violent” scene recorded by video surveillance cameras, the Colmar prosecutor’s office said this Friday. .
Six people from outside the school were arrested very quickly, after witnesses called the gendarmerie. Four of them are minors, the youngest being aged 14 and 15. The other two are “young adults”. They were all brought before the courts for violence aggravated by three circumstances: in a meeting, with a weapon – the scooter -, as well as for the place in which the attack occurred, in a school establishment.
The victims, who were punched and kicked, but also hit in the face with kicks from a scooter, were given one and two days of total incapacity for work (ITT).
Not known to justice
Among the people arrested, the two youngest were placed under judicial supervision by the children’s judge, suspected of being, for one, instigator of the violence, and for the other the author of the scooter hits.
The other minors will be summoned later, when the two young adults appear on prior admission of guilt. None of them was known to the courts.
The reasons for the attack could be a simple exchange of glances, a few days earlier at a “City Stadium”.
