Amazon unveiled two new personal AI devices, including the wearable Bee Frontier priced at 74,99 US dollars and the smartphone-mounted Bee Eclipse, marking the company’s expansion of its Bee brand into continuous conversation recording and summarization.
Amazon has officially introduced two new hardware products bearing the Bee brand, expanding an enterprise acquisition from 2025 into a lineup of artificial intelligence-powered wearables designed to continuously record, transcribe, and summarize user conversations. The newly announced models are named Bee Frontier and Bee Eclipse. Amazon acquired the San Francisco startup Bee in July 2025, which was known specifically for its ready-to-listen wristband, and integrated it to extend personal assistant capabilities beyond traditional smartphones.
Bee Frontier and Bee Eclipse Hardware Specifications
The Bee Frontier wearable costs 74,99 US dollars and can be worn on the wrist or clipped to clothing, as reported by AndroidAyuda. Amazon offers this model in three finishes—onyx, lavender, and sage—featuring IP67 water and dust resistance, USB-C charging, and an advertised battery life of up to seven days. Kursors notes that the device is equipped with two microphones featuring advanced noise cancellation capable of distinguishing speech from background sounds in crowded environments like open offices or busy restaurants.
In contrast, the credit card-sized Bee Eclipse attaches magnetically directly to the back of a smartphone, carrying a price of nearly 100 euros according to Kursors. While Kursors notes that the Bee Frontier launches immediately, the smartphone-attached Bee Eclipse will arrive on the market slightly later.
The manufacturer explains that these new devices are capable of generating conversation summaries, highlighting frequently discussed topics, suggesting action items, and even recommending appropriate purchases.
Subscriptions and Ecosystem Integration
Alongside the hardware, Amazon is launching the Bee Pro subscription tier at 11,99 US dollars per month with a 30-day trial for new users, as detailed by AndroidAyuda. The subscription unlocks unlimited conversation summaries, daily reminders, suggested tasks, conversation templates, and a personal chat assistant.
Bee’s free tier allows users to generate conversation summaries and replays while storing data for 14 days. To address privacy concerns regarding continuous listening, Amazon states that audio recordings are not permanently saved, and users can delete text transcripts and summaries at any time, per Kursors reporting.
For those looking toward markets in Spain or Europe, small print details remain sparse as Amazon has not yet announced a release date, euro pricing, or regional language and local support information. At present, the hardware is available exclusively in the United States.
