Ambulance kills coffee seller while working in Mexico City

In an incident captured on video and shared on social media, a street coffee vendor died Then a paramedic driving an ambulance crashed into him on the streets of Mexico City.

The fateful event occurred at the intersection of the avenues Hermitage Iztapalapa and Sur 73-Ain the Sinatel neighborhood, in the Iztapalapa mayor’s office.

The seller was traveling on his tricycle when a private ambulance violently hit him, leaving him unconscious on the pavement and then fled.

Despite the prompt arrival of emergency services, paramedics unfortunately declared the man without vital signs.

The area was immediately cordoned off to facilitate investigation work and avoid possible new mishaps.

The collaboration between the authorities on the ground and the Eastern Command and Control Center (C2) was crucial to identify and track the person responsible for this tragic event.

Thanks to the security cameras, it was possible to see how the ambulance driver continued his journey without stopping after the impact, triggering a rapid police mobilization to intercept him.

With precision and coordination, the C2 Oriente operators guided the agents in the field until they found the ambulance, which was stopped at the intersection of Javier Rojo Gómez Avenue and Eje 6 Sur, in the Guadalupe del Moral neighborhood.

The driver, a 30-year-old individual, was arrested at the scene and placed at the disposal of the Public Ministry. Now, the competent authorities will be in charge of determining the legal status of the driver.
