Americanas (BVMF:) communicated this Thursday, the 4th, the postponement of the disclosure of the balance sheet for the first quarter of 2023 scheduled for May 11th. The new date for publishing the results was not informed by the company.
The retailer points out that the postponement reflects the need to complete the work to review the financial statements for the fiscal years ended, including the 2022 fiscal year, and the effects of inconsistencies in accounting entries announced in January.
“The purpose of these review works is to ensure that the financial statements adequately reflect the equity and financial position of the company and its subsidiaries”, says the material fact.
