For the first time since 2018, the US has approved the sale of F-16s to the Pakistan Air Force and $450 million worth of military equipment for naval stability.

Addressing the United Nations General Assembly in New York in this regard, Indian Foreign Minister Jai Shankar had criticized the action of the United States to provide F-16 fighter jets to Pakistan. He also said, “Everybody knows where and against whom the F-16 fighter jets supplied to Pakistan are being used.”

In response to this, US State Department spokesman Ned Price said at a press conference, “Our country’s relations with India and Pakistan are of different importance. Our relationship with Pakistan and, on the other hand, our relationship with India are both on the basis of being partners.
