jpnn.comJAKARTA – After the General Election Commission (KPU) announced the results of the 2024 presidential election which showed the Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka pair as the winners, the national legal team Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar officially registered a lawsuit over the presidential election results with the Constitutional Court (MK).
In the lawsuit, the AMIN National Team asked for the 2024 presidential election to be repeated without including vice presidential candidate 02 Gibran Rakabuming Raka.
Responding to this request, national political and legal communicator Tamil Selvan said that the lawsuit alleging fraud against the MK from both candidate pair 01 Anies Baswedan – Muhaimin Iskandar and candidate pair 03 Ganjar Pranowo – Mahfud MD was just a joke or political joke.
He is pessimistic that the Constitutional Court will grant this, especially from the Anies – Muhaimin camp, which asks for the 2024 presidential election to be re-voted (PSU) without involving Gibran Rakabuming Raka as the elected vice president of Prabowo Subianto.
Tamil considers this request unreasonable and far-fetched
“The statement by Anies’ legal team asking that the election be carried out again without a vice presidential candidate from candidate pair 02, I think they don’t understand the Election Law. “The Anies-Muhaimin legal team is doing “standup comedy” in public spaces,” said Tamil Selvan, Friday (22/3/2024).
Tamil added that if parties 01 and 03 had a problem from the start with Gibran’s passing as vice presidential candidate, they should have walked out from the start or left as election participants as a form of protest so that the 2024 presidential election stage was canceled because it was deemed there were violations.
“If they really felt that the acceptance of Gibran’s registration as vice presidential candidate was invalid, they should have walked out at that time, so that the election stages could stop. Then a questionnaire was carried out by the DPR at that time. Not now, when the election is over, and they lost and shouted that the stages were problematic. “The question is the problematic stage, why are you even involved,” he said.
