A spark of hope?
It was THE celebrity separation of last year: In August, Oliver (45) and Amira Pocher (31) announced the end of their marriage. Since then, the rumors have been boiling over, and at times it even looked like an impending War of the Roses. But at the end of the year, Olli and his ex became closer than they had been in a long time.
The still-married couple surprisingly spent New Year’s Eve together, after all, they have two sons (3 and 4) together. Before midnight they put both children to bed, like Oliver Pocher in his Podcast with ex-wife Sandy Meyer-Wölden (40). Afterwards they went out together to continue partying.

Amira describes in the “Podimo” podcast “ Love lifeNow her view of New Year’s Eve. The 31-year-old: “We didn’t have that many points of contact, I have to be honest.” She first confirms Olli’s description of how they got their sons to sleep.
However: “Then he was upstairs with one of our sons for a while when he was going to bed and that’s why we didn’t see each other for a few hours,” Amira tells her brother and podcast partner Ibrahim Aly, called Hima (33). “I was downstairs with the big kids,” Olli and Sandy’s children.

But Amira Pocher cannot hide what she feels for her ex, despite all their differences. “And then there was a moment that Olli already talked about.”
What is meant is Oliver’s anecdote in his “Die Pochers” podcast. He recently spoke about the most emotional moment on New Year’s Eve: “We stood there. Strangely enough, she felt cold – despite the coat. Then I took her in my arms. Then, shortly after midnight, Amira became very emotional and lay in my arms crying.”

Amira now explains her outburst like this: “Of course I still feel connected to Olli. We just have a life together, kids together, we have a blended family together, created memories. We have experienced so many things together and of course I don’t care about this person. And what we experienced together doesn’t matter to me and will never matter to me.”
Oliver and Amira Pocher: love comeback or divorce?
The couple married in 2019, but are now set to divorce. Or do these loving words hint at a possible comeback?
Amira to BILD: “We are currently working on having the best possible relationship as parents for our children. That’s challenging enough. Everything else is of course not an issue.”
Pocher’s current wife confirmed to BILD that the divorce should go through shortly. There should be no arguments about the children. Both live relatively close to each other in Cologne.
BILD knows: Oliver and Amira will soon sit down without a lawyer and discuss how to proceed. Only then will they file for divorce.
So that’s it. Despite all the advances at last. At least it’s a reconciliatory ending.
