An accident with 36 cars blocked the passage on one of the highways in the Czech Republic – RBC

In the Czech Republic, about 40 cars collided on the D5 highway, due to which traffic on this road was blocked. About it says in a message from the Czech police on Twitter.

“We are investigating a mass accident involving about 40 vehicles on the 33-km highway D5 in the direction of Prague,” the report says.

As the local television channel ČT 24 was told by the press service of the regional fire department, 22 cars and 14 trucks collided.

According to rescuers, six people were injured in the accident.

The police suggested that the accident could have been due to bad weather. “Of course, the weather, a snowstorm that swept over Prague and the Central part of the Czech Republic, also played a big role in the mass traffic accident,” the police spokeswoman told the TV channel.
