A special discussion will be held between the representatives of the political parties representing the Parliament of Sri Lanka and the Election Commission.
The Election Commission has mentioned that the secretaries and representatives of all the parties have been invited for this discussion to be held today.
Special Discussion on Election Law Reform
Chairman of the commission, Nimal G Punjihewa, said that the amendments to the electoral system proposed by the Parliamentary Special Committee on Election Law Reform are to be discussed here.
After these discussions, a discussion will be held between political representatives and civil organizations who do not represent the Parliament, he said.
