Lilia Nedeva has worked in the municipality before, she was briefly the head of the economic department
Lilia Nedeva, the candidate for mayor of the Trakia region from the United for Plovdiv coalition, will be appointed head of the municipality’s Health Directorate, 24 Chasa has learned. In the first round of the local elections in October, she received 1,517 votes. “Conversations are still taking place,” Lilia Nedeva said succinctly. Until now, the post was held by Dr. Kalin Kalinov, who was part of the team of the previous mayor Zdravko Dimitrov, but is expected to remain in the municipality after the reshuffle.
Nedeva worked as the head of the economic department in the municipality for a short time at the beginning of the previous mandate, as the first deputy mayor for finance of Zdravko Dimitrov – Iliya Kirchev, appointed her for the position. Nedeva was also a deputy from “Bulgarian Rise” in the 48th National Assembly. At the beginning of this year, she left the party and in the local vote joined “United for Plovdiv” as a representative of “Party of the Greens”. Nedeva is an economist by education.
“United for Plovdiv” has 8 councilors, “Bravo, Plovdiv”, who complement the majority of GERB, – five. However, it is expected that Savina Petkov from “Bravo, Plovdiv” will be appointed as deputy mayor for transport, at this stage there is no sign of a deputy for Kostadin Dimitrov from “United for Plovdiv”.
Evelina Apostolova from GERB, who until recently was the head of “Kolodruma”, now works in “Parking and Repatriation”, where she is responsible for the Blue Zone.
