jpnn.comJAKARTA – Daily Chair of the Gerindra Party DPP Sufmi Dasco Ahmad claims that the discourse on adding ministries to the Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka cabinet has not been discussed within the coalition.
He stated that until now Prabowo as president-elect was still focused on designing program promises during the campaign period.
“Until now, Pak Prabowo is still focused on designing the program promises promised in the campaign. Well, that’s for nomenclature, the ministry doesn’t yet exist,” said Dasco in Central Jakarta, Thursday (9/5).
Dasco also admitted that he was confused about the issue of increasing the number of ministries.
According to the deputy chairman of the DPR RI, there has been no proposal to revise Law Number 39/2008 concerning State Ministries.
He explained that in the law, the number of ministries is limited to a maximum of 34. This means that the law needs to be revised to increase the number of ministries.
“Yes, it doesn’t exist yet, that’s why I’m confused. So, we just assume it’s an aspiration, input that way,” concluded Dasco.
Previously, the discourse on adding ministerial posts in Indonesia was expressed by the Deputy General Chair of the Gerindra Party, Habiburokhman.
