Anand Mahindra to present new Bolero to villager who created Kick-Start car!

Anand Mahindra, Chairman, Mahindra Group, is very generous in appreciating and recognizing one’s achievement or hard work. Anand Mahindra has been promoting its Mahindra company cars in order to attract many people who are attracted to it. The latest to join the list is Dattatraya Lohar from Devarashtri village in Maharashtra.

Dattatraya Lohar from Maharashtra has created a 4 wheeler using scrap metal. His unique work has caught the attention of Anand Mahindra, Chairman, Mahindra Group. According to the YouTube channel Historicano, the largely uneducated Dattatraya Lohar created this four-wheeler to fulfill his son’s wish.

Designed to look like Mahindra’s Jeep, the Icarus did not meet any motor vehicle regulations, but the innovative design impressed Anand Mahindra. Following this, he shared the video on his official Twitter account. He is saying that I will never stop appreciating the ingenuity and amazing abilities of our people.

Anand Mahindra has also shared a 45-second video explaining how Dattatraya Lohar’s vehicle works. Lohr’s 4-wheeler was manufactured at an investment of just Rs 60,000 and incorporates the kick-start mechanism commonly found on two-wheelers. This car from Lohar has minimal functionality like a small jeep. Lohr also uses this vehicle to transport passengers.

Lohr claims that his vehicle is made of old and abandoned car parts. Meanwhile, Anand Mahindra, inspired by Lohar’s plan, has said it will offer Lohar a new Mahindra Bolero to replace the car.

Anand Mahindra, however, said that Lohar’s “kick-start car”, which can carry up to 5 people, did not comply with road regulations and that local authorities would stop operating it on the roads, so I would personally give him a bolero. Mahindra’s tweet, which has garnered over 11,000 likes and and countless comments, has been heaping praise on Dattatraya Lohar and his work.
