Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy was injured in a stone-pelting attack by unidentified persons during election campaigning in Vijayawada today.

In this, Jagan Mohan Reddy sustained a serious injury on his left eyebrow. The doctors in the bus immediately gave him first aid. An MLA who was close to the Chief Minister was also injured in the attack. Vellampalli’s left eye was also injured.

YSRCP at Singh Nagar Thapa Kotla Centre. The incident occurred while the leader was campaigning for his party’s candidates for next month’s assembly and parliamentary elections.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that he is praying for Jagan Mohan Reddy’s speedy recovery.

In this regard, PM Modi posted on his X website, “I pray for the speedy recovery and good health of Andhra Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy.”
