Swiss Foreign Minister Ignazio Cassis has announced that Switzerland will resume its diplomatic missions in the Ukrainian capital, Kiev.

He said the Swiss ambassador to Ukraine, Claude Wild, would return to Kiev with four other embassy officials, and that local Ukrainian officials who had worked at the embassy could continue their work.

At the same time, Swiss Foreign Minister Ignazio Cassis said he was ready to expel their diplomats from Ukraine immediately if the situation worsened again.
