Anna Nagar East – Union Minister L Murugan is scheduled to cast his vote this evening at the Chennai Middle School on Gujji Street, New Avadi Road.

In this situation, when P. Murugan came to the polling booth to cast his vote, the polling center agents mistakenly registered his vote in the name of Co-Minister L. Murugan. Thus, P. Murugan has gone to the polls in the name of L. Murugan.

The matter escalated there and the TP Chatterjee police investigated P. Murugan and the polling center agents.

In it, it is revealed that the agent of the polling center has mistakenly ticked L. Murugan. Thus, the police said there was no fault on anyone. Following this, Union Minister L. Murugan will register to vote in the evening without any hindrance, officials said.

In this context, BJP state president Annamalai has insisted that the Union Minister’s vote was rigged and that the Election Commissioner should take action.
