The investigative committee added that after Karine Ghukasyan’s arrest, charges were filed under Article 46-204, Part 3, Clause 1 of the RA Criminal Code, violating the privacy of personal or family life, and the police officer was charged with Article 204, 3 of the RA Criminal Code. According to point 1 of part 1, collecting information considered to be a personal or family secret of a person using official or official powers or influence caused by them (in multiple episodes). After the arrest of Karine Ghukasyan, a petition was submitted to the court regarding arrest as a preventive measure against her, which was granted on June 22, 2023, and she was detained.
