Anseong City has selected businesses participating in 『Youth Stop』, a lifestyle-friendly youth space. Anseong City has selected the 『Cheongryujang』 space, which will be operated as a life-friendly youth space in 2024, and will begin the project in earnest from May.

The 『Cheongryujang』 project recruited project participants for 12 days from March 4 to March 15, and conducted the first screening of proposal documents from March 20 to March 22, and completed the on-site evaluation on March 25. Afterwards, the final five workplaces were selected.

Anseong City initially received a project cost of 20 million won (100% of the provincial fee) through a provincial contest and planned to operate three life-friendly youth spaces, but in order to reflect the diverse needs of young people, an additional 10 million won of provincial funding was secured to create a total of 3 spaces. It was announced that a total of 5 life-friendly youth spaces will be operated with a project cost of 10 million won.

This contest project includes “Mui Art Studio (25-8, Seungdu 1-gil, Gongdo-eup, Anseong-si)”, “Workshop H (16-6, Munteo-gil, Gongdo-eup, Anseong-si)” and “Baobab Woodworking Academy” (25-7 Beotkot-gil, Gongdo-eup, Anseong-si) in the western region. Three locations were selected, “Book Reading Happiness Small Library” (72 Ayang-ro, Anseong-si) and “Cafe Itda (13 Jungang-ro 371beongil, Anseong-si)” within Complex 6 of LH Happy Housing in Ayang-dong, where many young people live in the downtown area. .

Based on the results of the youth survey, this project is comprised of various programs tailored to the characteristics of each space in the fields of crafts, culture and arts, and humanities, along with the programs of ‘Youth Talk Talk’, a central youth culture space, from May to November. It is planned to operate until.

Anseong Mayor Kim Bora said, “Through this contest, we have been able to expand and operate more diverse quality programs with private businesses that could not be operated due to location limitations of Anseong City youth cultural space ‘Youth Talk Talk.’ “We will continue to work harder to create a city where young people want to live through more active youth policies.”
