Apple held the first presentation of new products in 2022. The American electronics manufacturer has unveiled the new Mac Studio desktop and the new Mac Studio Display.
Mac Studio computer positioned by the company as a device for professionals who need a powerful and fast desktop computer. The novelty will be available with both the M1 Max processor and the latest M1 Ultra. Declared up to 128 GB of RAM and support for SSD-drives up to 8 TB. The computer supports up to four screens, has USB-C, HDMI, Ethernet, Thunderbolt connectors and an SDXC memory card slot. Apple notes that the new Mac Studio is several times more powerful than the 27-inch iMac and the flagship Mac Pro, which allows the computer to simultaneously work with 18 streams of 8K ProRes video.
Along with the computer was introduced 27-inch Mac Studio Display monitor with 5K Retina resolution and the most natural color reproduction. The display received an A13 Bionic processor, six speakers with support for Dolby Atmos and surround sound, as well as a 12 MP ultra-wide-angle camera, which is also used in the iPad. You can pair up to three displays and connect Mac Studio Display to your MacBook Pro. The black keyboard, touchpad and mouse have been specially designed for the new screen.
New Apple devices will enter the market on March 18: Mac Studio with an M1 Max chip will cost from $1.9 thousand, and with an M1 Ultra processor – from $3.9 thousand, while at least $1.5 thousand will be asked for Mac Studio Display .
Apple also introduced a new generation of smartphone iPhone SE and tablet iPad Air.
