The object is actually a cigarette box that used to store tobacco leaves. It is filled with beautiful patterns and has been stored well, so it is in such good condition that you would believe it was made just yesterday.
In particular, the pattern of this cigarette box was produced using the silver engraving technique, which engraves thin silver thread into the object.

It is said that this commissioned piece was purchased directly from an auction site while the client was working in Japan with the intention of bringing back our cultural assets.
The requested product is a celadon plate with three-dimensional expressions of layers of flowers! Commissioner Kim Jun-young, who has over 40 years of appraising experience, also commented that it was a type of ceramics he had never seen before.
The shape and decoration technique of the client’s pottery can only be found on treasure-level cultural assets, so expectations for connoisseurs are rising!
