Archie Goodwin (Reuters)
As first reported in ONE, Maccabi Rishon Lezion announced this morning (Sunday) the signing of the guard, Archie Goodwin (27, 1.96). The one who pressured the team to get stronger is the mayor, Raz Kinslich, who demanded that she do what she can to try to stay in the league, as she is in last place in the table and is approaching the national league by huge steps.
Goodwin was selected by Oklahoma in the 2013 draft and later played in the NBA also in Phoenix, New Orleans and Brooklyn. Since 2017 the player has traveled quite a few teams, until he came to the Ukrainian Bodivelnik which plays in Kiev in 2022. As mentioned, in the shadow of the escalation in the area, it is now reaching a new destination in Israel. In Kiev he averaged not a bad 16.2 points, 6 rebounds and 2.1 assists in 9 league games.
The Guard arrived in New Orleans in 2016 and then moved to the Greensboro Development League team. In 2017 he signed a ten-day contract in a Brooklyn uniform and later continued to roam. As mentioned, his last team was Budivelnik from the league in Ukraine to which he arrived only last month.
