This was conveyed in a trial held at the Constitutional Court, Jakarta, Thursday (28/3), when the first applicant, namely the Anies-Muhaimin National Team (AMIN) legal team expressed their desire to present four ministers in the government of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi).
“We also ask for permission. We have also submitted a request to the panel of judges to help present the Minister of Finance, Minister of Social Affairs, Minister of Trade, Coordinating Minister for the Economy to hear their statements in this trial, Your Honor,” said the Head of the AMIN National Team Legal Team, Ari Yusuf Amir. .
Then, Deputy for the National Winning Team (TPN) Ganjar-Mahfud Legal Team, Todung Mulya Lubis stated that they supported the proposal from applicant one and wanted to submit the same thing.
According to Tidung, his party proposed many things related to social assistance, fiscal policy, and so on. So, his party also wants to submit the same request.
“However, because applicant one has been submitted, we support what was submitted. Likewise with the proposal for (summoning) the Minister of Social Affairs. We consider at least these two ministries to be very important, very vital, and we ask the Panel of Judges to grant the request. ” said Todung.
Meanwhile, related parties represented by the Deputy Chair of the Prabowo-Gibran Defense Team, Otto Hasibuan, said that this request needed to be considered for its relevance to the election results dispute.
“We just want to ask for consideration given that this matter is not a matter of submission of norms, but this is a dispute, where according to us the principle of actori in cumbit probatio applies, so maybe it is best not to need it.
