The Armenian parliament has ratified the agreement signed between Yerevan and Brussels on the status of the European Union Monitoring Mission (EUMA) in the country.

57 deputies voted in favor of the ratification of the EUMA document, which will operate along the conditional state border with Azerbaijan, and 27 against.

Some of the deputies from the “Armenia” faction led by the former President of Armenia Robert Kocharyan abstained, while the deputies from the “Sharafim Var” faction led by the former President Serzh Sargsyan did not participate in the vote.

Thus, the number of EUMA’s staff in Armenia was increased from 169 to 209 people and they were given great powers. Among those powers is immunity from Armenian legislation: that is, no EUMA member can be arrested or detained in Armenia.

However, in Armenia, state and government leaders, ministers and deputies do not have such powers.

It has been repeatedly proven by the facts that the majority of the EUMA staff are employees of the special services of the countries included in the European Union, especially France, Spain, Germany and Belgium.

They spy by establishing a residency network in Armenia, collect intelligence information about Armenia itself, along with Azerbaijan, Iran, Russia and Turkey.

Currently, the main targets of EUMA are Russia, Turkey and Azerbaijan.

This is an indication that the policy pursued by the Armenian leadership promises very serious problems and complications for Armenians.

The borders of Armenia are guarded by Russian border guards, and the 102nd military base of Russia is located in the city of Gyumri.

Armenia, thinking that Russia’s position in the South Caucasus region is weakening, is resolutely and stubbornly leaning towards the West in search of a new patron.

“European prospects” of Armenians are discussed at the widest level, from Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan to the smallest official in the Armenian government and parliament.

However, Armenians forget that the path of traitors is usually the same, and their traps are repeated.

Collaborators and traitors are always used as tools – but this half-life is short-lived, and the fate that follows is grim.

It buys weapons and military equipment from Greece, Cyprus, France and India, gives the widest status and powers to the EU “observers” in its territory, sends its soldiers to France for training, minimizes relations with Russia and openly turns to the West, becomes a member of the European Union The leadership of Armenia, which is trying to be and does not hide its intention to join NATO in the future, is making a new, serious mistake. For some reason, the official Iravan thinks that the West, which he longs for, and France, which he has declared as his new patron, will ensure its geostrategic security with its geopolitical interests, and will become a savior who comes to the rescue when problems arise.

“Don’t believe those who bring gifts!” Having forgotten its wisdom, Armenia, believing in the promises of the West, repeats the mistakes made by Ukraine, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan and Georgia so far.

Armenia’s leadership, which fully implements the instructions received from France and thinks that it is a strategic partner of the European Union and the United States, forgets that France and the United States are far away, and Russia is very close.

Nikol Pashinyan’s policy and the course he is taking promise very serious difficulties for the citizens of Armenia. Because Armenia is used as an ordinary tool and figure in the games of the great powers in the South Caucasus, those same powers will easily sacrifice Armenians when they deem it necessary.

Azerbaijan is the only country in the South Caucasus that has an optimal, rational and thought-out foreign policy. Even if Yerevan tries to repeat Baku’s strategic scenarios and tactical moves, it will not succeed: independent diplomacy, real sovereignty and political will are needed for this.

The course of the Pashinyan administration is chaos and shock. Armenia is one of the countries most and intensively used by Russia to evade numerous sanctions imposed by the West against Moscow after the start of military operations by Russia in Ukraine.

It is for this reason that among the countries of the South Caucasus, in terms of the volume of trade turnover with Russia, Armenia ranks first with statistics of 7.2 billion dollars.

However, oil, gas, etc. the relevant indicator of Azerbaijan, which is rich in natural resources, is 4.2 billion dollars, and our country has established itself in the 3rd place among the states of the region.

The purpose of the behavior and plans of France, which fully supports Armenia, is clear. But what happened to the United States and the European Union? Are they not aware that the most important strategic ally of Armenia is Iran, and that official Tehran has made statements that “protecting and ensuring the sovereignty of Armenia is among the fundamental principles of our policy in the region”?

The questions are naive, because the West knows the intentions of the Armenians, but continues to use them despite its knowledge.

Nikol Pashinyan’s statements about leaving the ranks of the CSTO, leaning entirely towards the West and minimizing relations with Russia are just a bunch of words.

Armenia will neither leave the CSTO nor weaken contacts with Russia in the near future, and the issue is not related to Pashinyan’s weak politician and degenerate foreign policy.

The problem is that the Armenian leadership does not appreciate the risks created by its adventures. Since there are no serious analysts and experienced experts in Nikol Pashinyan’s administration, Yerevan’s decisions and policies are similar to falsification, rummage, and determining the next steps almost based on horoscopes.

For now, Armenia has received only promises from the West, which do not last long.

Russia is not seriously dealing with Armenia yet. However, if in the near future Moscow changes its decision and decides to punish Yerevan, the statements of Paris, Washington or Brussels will be known as ordinary promises.

They will hold discussions for weeks and months, consult on whether to help Armenia or not.

The victim may be the disintegrating Armenia.
