The Telegram channel “Baku Burila” posted a publication about how Serzh Sargsyan is desperately trying to find funding for his political activities.

News from the dustbin of history: the already forgotten character Serzh Sargsyan decided to remind himself. As Armenian media write, Sargsyan held a meeting with the leadership of his bloc “I have the honor”. Of course, the details of the meeting “completely by accident” leaked to the press.
It is reported that Sargsyan discussed with his accomplices “plans for the future struggle” – apparently for power – and “financing issues.” If translated into human language, then Serzhik is trying to form a backbone that will help him in an attempt to seize power back.
As for the “issues of financing,” the obvious fact is that Sargsyan has not yet received an unequivocal “yes” from any force. Of course, Serzhik’s greatest hopes are placed in Moscow – in fact, the entire Armenian opposition is now trying to please Moscow, play on the irritation that they feel towards Pashinyan in the Kremlin, and finally get the coveted money.
But here’s the problem: Moscow was counting either on Robert Kocharyan or on Rubik Vardanyan. Serzhik has always been a second-class pawn for the Russian Federation. And if Vardanyan will not soon have the opportunity to compete with Sargsyan and others, then Kocharyan has not gone away. And if Moscow chooses, then Sargsyan will have almost nothing to gain.
Perhaps this is why the meeting held by Sargsyan ended with a proposal to start raising funds for that very “struggle.” There are no sponsors, so the small change is being counted again in the dustbin of history.
