A letter was sent to the district secretary of the CPM asking for a list for the appointment and an investigation will be conducted. The Mayor met the Chief Minister at Cliff House, his official residence. After reaching the chief minister’s office and filing a complaint, Arya reached Cliff House. DGP Anilkanth also reached Cliff House. Earlier CPM district leadership had summoned Arya. Senior leaders of the district, including members of the state committee, were also called to the meeting. The mayor gave an explanation to the party in the controversy. The explanation is that the letter is not his and the letter does not have his signature, only the seal. It was also informed that he was not in Thiruvananthapuram on the date mentioned in the letter. The letter to Anavoor Nagappan asking for a list of party members to appoint 295 temporary posts in the Thiruvananthapuram Corporation has come out.
