BOLZANO. From January 1st 2024, Assoimprenditori becomes Confindustria Alto Adige. The decision was taken unanimously at the general assembly on 5 June. However, the German language name (“Unternehmerverband Südtirol”) remains unchanged.
«The name change – explains the president Heiner Oberrauch – responds to a dual need: on the one hand we want putting the industry, which is already at the center of our business, back at the center of our name too. This is a sector that has contributed to transforming Alto Adige from a purely agricultural territory into a modern and innovative society, at the forefront in sectors such as Alpine technologies, food, construction and sustainable mobility.”
Furthermore, the new name aims to make belonging to the Confindustria system even more evident. «Confindustria, through its territorial and trade associations – adds Oberrauch – is the most representative organization representing companies producing goods and/or services in Italy. Belonging to this family allows us to be best represented in Italy and Europe. If, as a note underlines, “the mission of Confindustria Alto Adige remains unchanged: to contribute to the responsible development of the territory and its social and economic well-being”, the logo and address of the website also change with the name (www.confindustria .bz.it) and related email addresses.
