A new experiential exhibition offering hands-on access to the ROG Xbox Ally handheld gaming PC has opened in Seoul, South korea, courtesy of a collaboration between ASUS and the game culture platform, Mouse Potato. The event, running until July 31st, aims to showcase the versatility and performance of ASUS’s innovative gaming device.
Bringing the ROG Xbox Ally to Life
ASUS has partnered with Mouse Potato, a space-based game culture brand operated by SBXG and BNK FEARX, to create a unique and engaging experience for gamers. According to a company release, the event was designed to allow the public to directly interact with the ROG Xbox Ally and explore its capabilities.
The exhibition is located on the first and second floors of the Jonggak Mouse Potato location in seoul. The first floor serves as a dedicated presentation and exhibition space for the ROG Xbox Ally, allowing visitors to test its features firsthand.
Exploring Four Distinct Gaming Worlds
The second floor of the exhibition is divided into four themed zones – Xtreme, Yonder, Arcade, and Burst – each inspired by the iconic controller buttons (X, Y, A, B). These zones are designed to cater to a wide range of gaming preferences.
- Xtreme: Focused on high-intensity, fast-paced games.
- Yonder: Showcasing immersive story-driven experiences.
- Arcade: Featuring classic and casual gaming titles.
- Burst: Dedicated to first-person shooter (FPS) games.
Each zone is equipped with representative games from its respective genre, offering visitors a diverse selection to explore. A senior official stated, “ROG Xbox Ally is a next-generation UMPC designed to allow users to enjoy games of various genres anytime, anywhere.”
Interactive Experience and Prizes
Visitors are encouraged to explore all four theme zones and collect stamps as they go. Completing the stamp collection unlocks access to special drinks and desserts available at the venue. Moreover,completing all stamps enters participants into a lucky draw with notable prizes.

- Second Place: A ROG backpack.
