Any citizen armed with a smartphone can make the most unlikely story go viral, just to conceive the ephemeral fame of the click and the likes, but in reality, governments are the biggest creators of fake news, there is a marked interest in distorting the perception of events that the public cannot judge or evaluate objectively in the face of the avalanche of misinformation.
A generation of tycoons has emerged who have bought the major media outlets for a pittance, favored by the deregulation laws approved by numerous countries, which deprive the State of control over these media.
In a few years, the large multimedia monopolies passed into the power of mega transnationals, which also produce energy, missiles, airplanes, candy, cookies, books, cars, textiles, extract oil, exploit mines, etc.
