- Government Action Notice!
In Wuhan, China, at the end of December 2019, the corona virus spread to other parts of the world, including India, the United States, Italy, Brazil, France, and the Netherlands. With the discovery of a vaccine for the world-wide corona infection, the nations of the world are now intensifying their efforts to vaccinate.
Over the past few days, the incidence of corona infection in European countries has been on the rise again. Germany and Belgium are the worst affected. In addition, the impact has been greater in Austria and Australia. In Austria, where there have been 4 waves of corona damage so far, it is feared that a fifth wave could form. Therefore, various restrictions have recently been imposed on people who have not been vaccinated.
In this context, Austrian President Alexander Schalenberg has announced that a full curfew will be imposed across the country from next Monday. He said the curfew would last for at least 10 days and that vaccination would be mandatory from February 1 next year.
It has been reported that only essential services are exempted from full curfew. It is said that a decision will be made on whether the curfew can be relaxed or extended following the effect of the full curfew to be implemented for 10 days. It is noteworthy that Austria was the first country in Western Europe to implement full curfew again.
