AVIATION: Planes are again allowed to land at Gardermoen after restrictions were introduced on Friday afternoon.

Due to the weather and very poor visibility, landings at Oslo Airport were delayed at 15.40.

– The planes are unable to see the landing lights, said press officer Øystein Løwer in Avinor VG who first wrote about the matter.

Then several planes had to circle over and wait for landing permission, while other planes turned around.

Just after 4 p.m., press officer Øystein Løwer in Avinor informs TV 2 that the planes are again allowed to land at Gardermoen.

He says traffic is moving as normal, but that there will be delays throughout the afternoon, as a result of late arriving flights.

From Helganes, Norwegian’s departure to Oslo at 17.55 (DY191) has for the time being been postponed to 18.30.
