The road should connect the Samara-Togliatti agglomeration through Saratov and Volgograd with the Krasnodar Territory. The length of the road that will go along the right bank of the Volga is about 1500 km.

A branch from Volgograd towards Astrakhan and to the ports of the Caspian Sea is also possible, which is an additional 500 km. In total, out of these 2,000 km, new construction will account for 1,158 km of roads. They will cost about 1.2 trillion rubles.
