Avtovaz will halt the production of some car models, including Lada Granta, for two days due to a shortage of components, TASS reports with reference to the company’s press service.
Avtovaz is forced to suspend the production of cars on June 2 and 3, 2021 on assembly lines No. 1 (cars on the B0 platform) and No. 5 (produced by Granta) due to a lack of supplies of some components, “the press service said.
Production is scheduled to resume on June 4th. The company noted that this situation will not affect the availability of cars in dealerships.
