Complaints were heaped on the Chennai Central Crime Branch against U-Tupar Babji Madan, who played the banned game Babji and broadcast it live on YouTube, in which he spoke obscene words to girls and women. In this connection, Babji Madan and his accomplice Madan’s wife Krithika were charged under Section 5 by the Central Criminal Police, arrested, produced in court and remanded in custody.
Following the release of Krithika on bail, Babji Madan was charged with thuggery. In this situation, it is said that Babji Madan, who was imprisoned in Pulhal under the Prevention of Thugs Act, was suffering from back pain.
