Batting for Australia; Siraj strikes first

Mumbai: In the first match of the India-Australia ODI series, the visitors lost the first wicket after losing the toss. Travis Head’s stumps for five were dropped by pacer Mohammad Siraj. Australia are 29 for 1 after five overs. Mitchell Marsh with 13 runs and captain Steven Smith with five runs are at the crease.

Although there is no place for fast bowler Umran Malik, four pacers including captain Hardik Pandya have been included in the Indian team. Apart from Hardik, Shardul Thakur, Mohammad Siraj and Mohammad Shami are the pacers in the team. Yuzvendra Chahal was dropped while Ravindra Jadeja and Kuldeep Yadav came in as spinners. Suryakumar Yadav retained his place while KL Rahul got a place in the batting line-up.
