Bayern Munich: after three weeks of absence, Kingsley Coman returns to training

by time news

After three and a half weeks of absence, Kingsley Coman returned to training with Bayern Munich late Monday morning, on the eve of the Champions League match against the Czechs of Plzen on Tuesday (6:45 p.m.).

At the start of the session, Coman exchanged a few balls with Benjamin Pavard, Dayot Upamecano and Matthijs de Ligt in particular, before receiving a hug from coach Julian Nagelsmann and applause from his teammates.

Victim of a muscle tear in the right thigh in training on Friday September 9 before the reception of Stuttgart, the French international missed the gathering of the Blues in mid-September and the two League of Nations matches against Austria and in Denmark.

His return to collective training at Bayern is good news for the France team, seven weeks before the World Cup in Qatar (November 20-December 18).

Julian Nagelsmann indicated last week that we would have to see when Coman could play again with Bayern, while the Bundesliga shock in Dortmund is scheduled for Saturday (6:30 p.m.), four days after the C1 match against Viktoria Plzen.
