Kamiya, is widely known for his enormous contributions to the industry having been director of Resident Evil 2, Devil May Cry y Viewtiful Joeas well as other games like Eyes.
Platinum released a statement thanking the creative for his contribution and creative ideas that helped get the studio to the position it is in today. Therefore, they hope that the video game industry will continue to strengthen in its next projects that it does away from the developer.

Kamiya also did his thing in his personal account Assuring that it was not an easy decision but he feels comfortable having made it based on his own convictions, which is why he asks his followers to be attentive to the news that he will reveal in the future.
The Japanese developer’s own character will not allow us to know what really happened that made him decide to withdraw from PlatinumGames. At least it’s leaving them in a good position after having released games like Bayonetta 3 y Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon.
