Nelson made his directorial debut with Kolamau Kokila. Following the film, Sivakarthikeyan’s Doctor was released last month and became a blockbuster hit. Nelson, who thus gave consecutive hit films, is currently directing Vijay’s Beast.
Produced by Sun Pictures, the film stars Vijay Hegde opposite Pooja Hegde and the villain Selvara. Also VTV Ganesh, Aparna Das, Yogibabu, Retin are playing the lead roles. Anirudh composes the music for the action-packed film.
The shooting of the film is in full swing. The crew plans to release the film in April next year on the occasion of the Tamil New Year.
Meanwhile, director Nelson shared a photo of the Beast movie on his Twitter page to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the filming of the Beast movie. In the photo, actor Vijay, director Nelson and everyone else are playing musical instruments and actress Pooja Hegde is singing.
It has been rumored on social media that Nelson has posted this photo as a sign that the first song of the Beast movie is coming out soon. The hashtag #BeastFirstSingle is also trending on Twitter.
