The general public has the opportunity to participate in social service activities in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. Abu Dhabi Department of Justice has prepared an opportunity for those who want to do volunteer work. The department started the campaign under the name ‘Volunteer Service: Culture and Willingness’. Officials from the Department of Justice (Dukhr) are also members of the Justice Department Voluntary Team.
Department of Justice aims to encourage participation in social service through team formation. The department started the volunteer group campaign for community services at the suggestion of Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Presidential Court and Chairman of Abu Dhabi Department of Justice. The campaign is in collaboration with Abu Dhabi Waste Management Company (Tadweer). The campaign started with the cleaning of public places in Al Ain area. The project aims to promote the importance of social commitment and responsibility as well as raise the standard of public and recreational facilities and cultural features of Abu Dhabi.
