Jordán Rodas assured in his networks that the Constitutional Court (CC) denies the population the right to choose freely, after they denied him the provisional protection requested by the MLP.
The PDH expressed its disagreement in an intervention on Facebook live, where it affirmed that ethics can no longer be expected from justice.
“The resolutions of the CC are abided by, not discussed”
Not long ago, Jordán Rodas affirmed that the resolutions of the CC are not discussed, but are complied with. This, when said court was chaired by Gloria Porras. It should be remembered that three magistrates of that court defended themselves to avoid being investigated and this action was highly considered by the then PDH.
Almost every appeal that Rodas filed in the CC was immediately endorsed by that instance, which left-wing international media described as a “high court” and even presented itself as the instance with authority over the Supreme Court of Justice, misrepresenting reality: the CC it is the highest authority in constitutional matters (exclusively).
The new CC is not so accommodating with the PDH, who was denounced by his successor, Alejandro Córdova, who expressed that he denounced the alleged mismanagement of Q20 million so as not to fall into the crime of omission of denunciation.

It would seem absurd taken to the extreme, but the wife of magistrate Francisco de Mata Vela worked in the PDH with Rodas, and he never asked De Mata Vela to inhibit himself in any of the rulings that favored the PDH in the CC and earned him the nickname of “Amparito”.
