The T20 World Cup will be held in the United States and the West Indies in June. Before that, the United States will host Bangladesh in the T20 series in May. This three-match T20 series will start from May 21. The remaining two matches will be on May 23 and 25.
The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) confirmed the matter in a statement on Thursday evening. All matches will be played at Prairie View Cricket Complex in Houston Before the game against Bangladesh, USA will also play a 5-match series against Canada.
With the World Cup being held in the United States, BCB said that they are trying to organize something like this. Meanwhile, the T20 series was announced. Which will greatly help the Bangladesh team to understand the conditions before the World Cup.
BCB Chief Executive Officer Nizam Uddin Chowdhury Sujan expressed his gratitude to USA Cricket for hosting this series before the World Cup. Apart from this, he wished the presence of Bangladeshi visitors from the United States diaspora in the field.
