Pat Kalla and his bad Super Mojo returns with Beautiful landan album that mixes mixed rumba, funk, beguine and afrobeats with musical essences collected in Reunion, the West Indies and Africa.

It’s a record that feels good. It warms the heart, brings good humor, makes you want to dance to good vibes. The groove griot is back. If it enlivens the slopes of Croix-Rousse in Lyon, its roots are in Cameroon, the country of Makossa, Mongo Beti and Francis Bebey.

With his band, Super Mojo, Pat Kalla offers us six spicy and mixed songs. There are diverse and varied African rhythms, highlife, afrobeat, makossa, cumbia and funk, but also Caribbean, Reunionese, and a little French song too, because the words which sing the love of women, of good vibes and of the planet are in French.

On the program for this gourmet café:

Lisa Giroldini met jazz musician Fabrice Martinez who is releasing a tribute album to icon Stevie Wonder

Emma Garboud attended the third edition of “ Female rappers in freedom », a rap competition that features female rappers from all backgrounds, embracing a diversity of styles and displaying varied backgrounds.

Carmen Lunsmann tells us about “Opera in Guyana”, a project initiated by the Paris National Opera which exports its dancers to Guyana to raise awareness among a new audience and unearth new talents.
