Prime Minister Naftali Bennett spoke today (Thursday) with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Against the background of the nuclear talks in Vienna, the Prime Minister stressed the importance of resolutely standing against Iranian progress in the nuclear project.
President Putin invited the prime minister and his wife to visit the city of St. Petersburg.

The conversation was good, during which the Prime Minister congratulated President Putin on the occasion of the New Year.
The two discussed a number of issues, chief among them regional security issues. In doing so, they agreed on continued close cooperation in the space. The Prime Minister and the President also discussed security challenges in the global arena.
President Putin invited the prime minister and his wife to visit the city of St. Petersburg, following his invitation during the prime minister’s visit to Sochi. The prime minister replied that he and his wife would be happy to pay the visit.
