These include MEDIMAX Bernau, located in the Bahnhofspassage; “Smyths Toys” in the Eiche purchase park; and the bookstores “Schatzinsel” and “Firlefanz.” Participating retailers are offering discounts to maximize the impact of the campaign.
Community Support Fuels Holiday Giving
The success of this year’s campaign is attributed to the generosity of 19 donors, including two private individuals and a consortium of local companies. “Our express thanks go to you,” said Mayor Stahl. The foundation relies on continued donations to sustain its vital work.
Pastor Konstanze Werstat emphasized the importance of supporting those struggling during challenging economic times. “We feel the ongoing crises around the world every day. Everything is becoming more expensive. That’s why it is particularly important to support those in need during these times and to enable them to have a nice Christmas with gifts, becuase Christmas Eve is the time when joy and helpfulness come first.” Details about donating, including transfer forms, is available in the foyer of the New Town Hall in Bernau.
