The country’s leading automobile manufacturer, Maruti Suzuki, has set a new record by selling one million units of its popular multi-purpose vehicle, the Maruti Eco. The company launched this 7-seater MPV in 2010 and since then the car has sold more than 1 million units.

5 lakh cars sold
The company has sold 5 lakh units in the first 8 years. On the other hand, it has crossed 5 lakhs in the next three years.
Maruti Eco Cargo Car Sales
The Maruti Eco is available in 5-seater and 7-seater models in a total of 13 variants including Cargo, Ambulance and Tourer variants. The company has recently launched its updated model with a starting price of Rs. 5.25 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi) is a price that suits everyone.
The new Maruti Ego has been launched with a refreshed interior and advanced features. It is powered by a 1.2-litre K-Series Dual Jet VVD petrol engine that produces 80.76 PS of power and 104.4 Nm of torque.
Mileage of Maruti Eco
The company said that its petrol version will give 25 percent more mileage than the previous model. In petrol mode, this Maruti car returns a mileage of 19.71 kmpl. Whereas the CNG version gets a mileage of 26.78 kmpl.

Features of Maruti Ego
The reclining front seat, cabin air filter, dome lamp and new battery saving function are nice features in this car. This car has 11 safety features which are great. These features include illuminated hazard lights, dual airbags, engine immobilizer, anti-lock braking system (ABS) with electronic brakeforce distribution (EBD), child lock, sliding doors, reverse parking sensors, etc.
Apart from this, the cabin has been upgraded with a digital instrument cluster, new steering wheel, rotary controls for AC and heater. Its petrol variant gets 60 liters of boot space. Maruti Ego is available in 5 different colors.
