A program like Big Brother is dynamic and things change in it from moment to moment. This is also how our feelings towards the tenants sometimes change.
If in another column I praised Nathaniel who changed and became more moderate and mellow, I was deceived. Yesterday he was again seen in one of his wildest moments and for what? About the fact that Talia and Shef quarreled at night and disturbed his sleep. I didn’t see that the seagull woke Nathaniel when Hela got scared and cowered with Diane under the covers, or that the two went out to eat their hearts out in the kitchen in the dead of night.
Then again the familiar and well-known Nathaniel came out of him, who does not know how to postpone gratifications and woe to those who stand in his way and do not allow him to achieve his needs or desires. Once it was bamba or food in general, and this time: sleep. And what will happen, dear Nathaniel, when your baby cries at night and you walk all day like a zombie from exhaustion? Or what will happen if you come home from work and the steak is still not ready on the table? Will the blood capillaries in your face threaten to burst even then?
You made a bitter mistake, Nathaniel, that just before the final, when public opinion is deciding, you again showed unflattering sides of your character. Unless, you’ve already won the car and you assume that you won’t win a million anyway, so you beep and allow yourself to vent and release nerves and to hell with everyone.
In a previous column, I wrote that Big Brother, throughout the season, protects and embraces two tenants: Bar and Nathaniel. If for a moment I doubted that I might be wrong, yesterday I had no doubt at all that this was the case.
In a video distributed on Tiktok, a seagull and a bar were seen in the kitchen, with the latter frying fish, and when Kavar arrives and tastes, a seagull tells her that he is leaving for a moment and will immediately return to clean the fish after him. Bar answers him that there is no need. That is, She took it upon herself to clean, then, after cleaning and rinsing the kitchen and the pan, she ran into a seagull who promised to come back and clean himself and didn’t. If you took it upon yourself to clean the kitchen, why complain later? Either you do the job perfectly, or you don’t do it at all.
the jealousy Oh the jealousy, it drives people crazy. When Bar and Nathaniel know that Sheaf’s chances of winning are great, this is the time to attack, just before the ceasefire goes into effect, so that Sheaf’s chances of winning are weakened.
Big Brother hid this part where a seagull clearly tells the bar that he will clean the fish after him and she supposedly gives him up. The big brother preferred to present Bar as a hardworking and caring person who takes care of cleaning the kitchen, while a seagull makes out with Talia in bed. Seagull was basically presented here as an egoist. The same seagull, who spends the whole season working for everyone, cooks and cleans. In other words: When we are not shown the full picture and a part of it intentionally fell on the editing floor, there is fraud on the viewers.
Forget that there is a sophisticated and cunning pattern of behavior on Bar’s part, to suggest that she help and do, and then turn the creator into the detriment of the other party for no wrongdoing, in order for her to be portrayed as the tzaddik of the generation, and he, as a scoundrel. Or “actor”, her favorite word that is not related at all. but Big brother, where are you in all this? Why are you hiding the truth from us? After all, it is so transparent, now more than ever, that you have taken a side and are fiercely defending your favorites, and you are portraying Sheaf, the good man in the plot, in a negative light.
And finally, after a whole season of waiting for the long-awaited kiss between Talia and Shef, Big Brother can’t bless them? Don’t tell us that you too are jealous of the love that started to blossom between the sheets?
You are the compassionate and benevolent big brother, who so much wants romance to prevail in his house and builds an entire season on it, so precisely at the most romantic and captivating moment, you scold them, and in such a tone and tone that is so unpleasant to the ear? We did not see that you were such an antipath, when others broke the rules, like Nathaniel who broke the vase and you contented yourself with a weak and stammering rebuke.
In short, big brother, wake up. The time has come for you to realize that the one who should win, will not be the one who shouts louder, but the one who can really serve as an example of proper, dignified and respectful behavior, teenagers are watching your sailing, take responsibility already.
