Thiruvananthapuram: The preliminary conclusion of the police is that it was Binuraja who killed Ajikumar, a PWD officer in Kallambalam. Rural SP Divya Gopinath said that although Binuraj had committed suicide, the investigation would continue and scientific evidence would have to be collected. Ajikumar, a public works officer, was the first to be killed. Sajeev Kumar killed his friend Ajith in a dispute over this. Binuraj, who is believed to have played a key role in Ajikumar’s murder, later committed suicide.
Ajikumar and Binuraju had animosity earlier. On the day of Ajikumar’s murder, 16 people got drunk in two groups led by the two. According to the police, the accident took place when they met later. The night after Ajikumar’s death, seven people got drunk 150 meters below the house. Since everyone was friends, there was a lot of talk about who killed Ajikumar. Some people said that Sajeev Kumar was killed. Sajeev got angry and left the place and got drunk again.
Every suspicion about the murder was told by each of the friends. When the word got out again, the creators themselves intervened and solved the problem. After getting drunk, Jacqueline, Pramod and Ajith were walking out of the place when Sajeev Kumar pulled up the pickup truck and knocked it down. Ajith died on the spot. Pramod is undergoing treatment. Jacqueline has no significant problems. Sajeev Kumar confessed to the crime to the police. His arrest was recorded. According to police, Binuraj committed suicide out of fear of being caught in the case.
