The team from the Bizkaia College of Physicians was proclaimed the winner of the national soccer tournament held in Cambrils. 16 ensembles from different provinces participated. The Biscayan team won 1-0 in the duel against Badajoz, the same result was obtained against Cantabria and closed the first phase with a 2-0 against Madrid. In the quarterfinals, after being group champions, the doctors from the territory defeated Tarragona 3-0, in the semifinals they dominated Sevilla 1-0 and in the final they knocked down Córdoba 3-1 “in a very complete match.” In previous tournaments, they had achieved 5 runner-up finishes and three third-place finishes.
