BKT series. Cosenza – Pisa 1-1 Caracciolo regains the equalizer in added time

by time news

PISA – At the last breath the Pisa grabs the draw (1-1) a Cosenza when the second consecutive defeat now seemed like a reality. What saved the Nerazzurri troops (and perhaps Aquilani) was the great athletic gesture of Antonio Caracciolo primed by an overhead kick from Tano Masucci. A goal that froze San Vito Marulla and gave a precious draw to Pisa reduced to ten men from the end of the first half and trailing by a goal scored by Tutino at the dawn of the quarter of an hour of the second half.

THE FIRST HALF. Pisa in yellow jersey, Cosenza with the classic red and blue shirt. Unexciting match, few scoring opportunities for the two teams. Pisa keeps the ball in their hands, Cosenza awaits Pisa’s mistake to restart. Moreo as the sole striker fails to find the target, but the forward supplies are scarce. Arena wins the ball on three-quarters and flies towards the area but his diagonal ends just wide. Loria was forced to rebound shortly after following a central shot from Marra. The first yellow of the match goes to Calabresi who is then sent off in the 44th minute by Bonacina. Pisa with ten men who ended the first half of the match after two minutes of injury time at 0-0.

THE SECOND HALF. The second half opens with the entry of Beruatto for Arena. Referee Bonacina awards a penalty to Pisa but then recalled by the VAR he goes back on his decision and decides not to award the penalty to the Nerazzurri. We are at 54′. In the 61st minute San Vito Marulla explodes with Tutino’s goal which smacks of mockery. Pisa doesn’t fit. Aquilani plays his cards: in Veloso, Torregrossa and Masucci. The old guard puts their heart and soul into it. Micai performs a miracle on Tourè but can do nothing about Caracciolo’s acrobatics which gives Pisa a heavy point in Cosenza.
