Adimali: The body of a tribal youth who went missing a few days ago in Idukki was found buried in the forest. The body of Mahendran, who went missing eight days ago, was found in a 20-acre cottage in Bison Valley.
Police said that Mahendran was accidentally shot and killed while hunting. The people who were with him buried the body so as not to reveal the incident. Mahendran’s body was found in the forest area between the paddy field and a single tree.
Mahendran went missing on June 27. The group including Mahendran went to Pothamedu region for hunting. He was accidentally shot and killed there. His companions buried the body there. After Mahendran went missing, his relatives lodged a complaint at the Rajakkad police station. After the police started the investigation, the suspected culprits from Kunchithanni appeared at the station and revealed that they had buried the body.
